Est. 2011

The Naomi Mentoring Project (Naomi) was founded in 2011 to mentor girls (ages 11 to 17) in Danbury Connecticut through one-to-one relationships with mature Christian women.

Our current Naomi mentors are mature Christians who serve as friends, advisors and role models, and seek to support, inspire and motivate mentees and help them develop into Christ filled young women who seek excellence in all they do as they transition from adolescent to young adult hood.

Because consistency is critical to developing strong mentor-mentee relationships our mentors make a two-year commitment and agree to meet with their mentee once a week for 1 to 2 hours.  Our mentors are amazingly committed individuals … many have been with their mentees for 4 years and the majority of mentors continue with their mentee through high school graduation.
